The Carolina Panthers are getting a clean bill of health for Christmas.
For the third practice session leading up to their Week 16 matchup with the Detroit Lions, the Panthers were all clear. Each of the five players listed on the injury report were marked as full participants for Thursday and will enter Saturday without a game status designation.
That group included starting cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and CJ Henderson. Horn had previously been noted as a limited participant for Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s outings due to his shoulder injury, but will be good to go for the crucial contest.
As a matter of insurance for their banged up secondary, the Panthers claimed former Pittsburgh Steelers third-round pick Justin Layne off waivers on Wednesday.
Here’s the final injury report for Week 16:
Injury | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Game status | |
