Panthers Week 1 injury report: DJ Chark out, Adam Thielen questionable vs. Falcons

The Panthers have ruled out DJ Chark (hamstring) from Sunday’s matchup with the Falcons. Adam Thielen (ankle) is questionable.

Rookie quarterback and No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young will be without at least one of the offense’s top weapons in his regular-season debut on Sunday.

The Carolina Panthers have ruled out wideout DJ Chark from the 2023 opener against the Atlanta Falcons. Chark, who seemed optimistic about his availability despite missing yesterday’s practice, is still recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained a few weeks ago.

Fellow receiver Adam Thielen, who was also held back from Thursday’s session, was upgraded to a limited participant this morning. He has been designated as limited for the matchup.
