Panthers select S Jammie Robinson with 2023’s 145th overall pick

The Panthers selected Florida State S Jammie Robinson with the 145th overall pick of the 2023 NFL draft.

The Carolina Panthers are done drafting for the year . . . unofficially.

Unless they trade back up into the fray, the team made their final pick of the weekend in Florida State University safety Jammie Robinson. The 22-year-old now goes down as the 145th overall selection of the 2023 NFL draft.

A Cordele, Ga. native, Robinson made his first foray into the area in 2019, as a recruit for the University of South Carolina. He’d spend two seasons there—amassing 135 total tackles (3.5 for a loss) and two interceptions.

Robinson moved on to Florida State in 2021, where he’d see a bit more action between his junior and senior campaigns. As a Seminole, he recorded 183 tackles (12.0 for a loss), a sack and five picks over 15 games—earning a pair of First-team All-ACC nods in the process.

The 5-foot-11, 191-pounder is regarded as one of the most well-rounded safeties in the class. He should also come in handy for Ejiro Evero’s new defense.
