With rookie minicamp now behind him, Bryce Young hasn’t been allowed to conduct any business at the Carolina Panthers’ practice facility this week. League rules, folks.
But that didn’t stop him from learning about another type of business, and with a few of the most prolific moneymakers at that.
On Thursday, Young talked shop with a trio of elite entrepreneurs—Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, rap superstar Travis Scott and some dude named Tom Brady who *checks notes* played quarterback for a few years in the NFL. Joining the 2023 draft’s No. 1 overall pick were his fellow rookie passers—C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans, Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts and Will Levis of the Tennessee Titans.
Incredible lunch with @TomBrady and @trvisXX talking to our @Fanatics athletes @_bryce_young @CJ7STROUD @will_levis and @GVOaant about building their careers on and off the field! Thank you Tommy and Trav – what an amazing discussion!! Can't wait to watch my guys kill it in… pic.twitter.com/SNqvBayw3r

Football, particularly at the NFL level, is about more than just the actual football. So for these four young men, who all play the most important and prosperous position in the game, picking the minds of these high-profile businessmen was probably an invaluable experience.
And maybe the Brady guy gave them some advice about the actual football part as well. He might have a few useful nuggets of wisdom, right?
