Two of the Carolina Panthers’ top players found themselves on Wednesday’s injury report.
One was quarterback Bryce Young—who, unsurprisingly, was listed with a back injury. On the last play of the team’s opening drive in Jacksonville this past Sunday, the rookie absorbed a big hit from defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris.
Young remained down while being surrounded by teammates. He would not, however, miss a single snap for the remainder of the 26-0 loss.
Also included on the report was outside linebacker Brian Burns, who sustained a knee injury in the defeat. Like Young, he finished out the contest and was a full participant for today’s practice.
