The Carolina Panthers had a few players who did not participate during today’s practice at training camp.
Wide receiver Seth Roberts remains in the concussion protocol, undrafted rookie Omar Bayless is still out with his swollen knee which will require surgery and offensive lineman Tyler Larsen was also in a red jersey.

With injuries piling up at wide receiver, the team brought in a few free agents to tryout yesterday. That included four wide receivers: former XFL stud and P.J. Walker teammate Cam Phillips, plus Jeff Badet, Saeed Blacknall and Darrell Stewart. Expect one of them to sign in a couple of days.
On the bright side, linebacker Shaq Thompson is back to 100% after being limited for a while due to tightness in his groin.

The trend at receiver may be discouraging, but the good news is that so far there haven’t been any serious injuries for any critical players.
