Panthers elevate 2 players for Week 4 matchup vs. Bengals

The Panthers are calling up two members of their practice squad ahead of Sunday’s tilt with the Bengals.

The Carolina Panthers are bringing up a pair of practice squad members for tomorrow’s meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals.

As announced on Saturday afternoon, defensive lineman DeShawn Williams and outside linebacker Thomas Incoom have been elevated for Week 4. This will be Williams’ second consecutive week getting a call-up while Incoom is set to make his main roster debut.

Like in Week 3, Williams heads up with starting nose tackle Shy Tuttle having already been ruled out. Fellow starting defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson is also questionable with a knee injury.

Williams registered 27 defensive snaps in last Sunday’s upset win over the Las Vegas Raiders. He recorded one tackle and two pressures in the 36-22 victory.

Incoom, an undrafted free-agent signee of the Denver Broncos back in 2023, was added to Carolina’s practice squad on Aug. 28. The 6-foot-2, 265-pounder appeared in four games for the Broncos last season, with 35 of his 55 total snaps coming on special teams.
