The Panthers granted unprecedented access to their production team during the 2021 NFL draft. Since releasing a behind-the-scenes video yesterday, we’ve learned a lot of interesting things about the process.
In this clip the team shared on Twitter, Carolina head coach Matt Rhule calls Brady Christensen a “third-round tackle and a second-round guard” as the team mulls a trade up for him in the third round of the draft. Watch.
Here's the backstory on Fitterer trading up to secure lineman Brady Christensen 🤔

Rhule has also gone on the record saying that Christensen has four-position flexibility.
While it’s good to have an OL that can play both spots, the Panthers don’t have a desperate need for a quality right or left guard. Finding a long-term solution at left tackle should still be a top priority on this side of the ball. If they don’t, it will make it that much harder for Sam Darnold to take a leap forward and leave their offense limited.
