The Chargers are nearing the end of the regular season. Sitting in a good position at 7-5, some notable players have contributed to their success along the way.
Pro Football Focus revealed its Third-Quarter All-Pro Team, and Los Angeles was represented by guard Matt Feiler and edge defender Joey Bosa, both tabbed as second-teamers.
Signed this past offseason, Feiler has been an integral piece on the offensive line. He, Rashawn Slater, and Corey Linsley form a wall on that side and pave the way in the running game on a weekly basis.
Matt Feiler was a smart piece of business by the Chargers in free agency, and he is dramatically exceeding all reasonable expectations now as one of the best guards in the league. He boasts an 88.6 PFF run-blocking grade through 13 weeks.
On the other hand, Bosa continues to make plays on a snap-to-snap basis, whether that be generating pressure on opposing quarterbacks or setting the edge and getting run stops.
Through 12 games, he has 50 pressures, 37 hurries, 22 run stops, and seven sacks.
Even they were the only Chargers players who made the team, others have proven themselves worthy of being mentioned, like Linsley, Derwin James, Rashawn Slater, and Justin Herbert.
