Pair of ACC teams in top ten of latest FBS re-rank

Clemson and Miami remain in the top ten of the latest re-rank of all 134 FBS college football teams ahead of Week 9.

The college football season is past the halfway point, with a handful of teams already securing bowl eligibility a full ten days before Halloween.

The expanded 12-team College Football Playoff has created a more exciting finish to the regular season, with upwards of 25 teams still realistic candidates to contend for a national championship – including at least four teams from the ACC.

This past week saw the ACC’s two strongest programs, the Clemson Tigers and Miami Hurricanes, each secure victories to remain in the projected College Football Playoff picture.

Elsewhere around the conference, the Florida State Seminoles lost to the Duke Blue Devils for the first time ever, continuing to plummet down Paul Myerberg’s latest re-rank of every FBS team.
