The college football season is past the halfway point, with a handful of teams already securing bowl eligibility a full ten days before Halloween.
The expanded 12-team College Football Playoff has created a more exciting finish to the regular season, with upwards of 25 teams still realistic candidates to contend for a national championship – including at least four teams from the ACC.
This past week saw the ACC’s two strongest programs, the Clemson Tigers and Miami Hurricanes, each secure victories to remain in the projected College Football Playoff picture.
