It took Romeo Doubs all of one quarter and one play to find the end zone in his return from a one-game suspension. The Green Bay Packers third-year receiver won on an out-breaking route, made the catch and broke a tackle on his way to a 10-yard touchdown catch from Jordan Love on the first play of the second quarter on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
Doubs was suspended for last week’s win over the Los Angeles Rams for conduct detrimental to the team after he skipped practices on Thursday and Friday. He returned to the team on Wednesday of this week, practiced all three days and was active Sunday.
Coach Matt LaFleur said his team was moving on from the situation. A touchdown from Doubs on Sunday will certainly help.
Love found Doubs for a 19-yard catch earlier on the touchdown drive.

Teammates embraced Doubs in the end zone after the scoring play. Both Christian Watson and Jayden Reed were first on the scene with hugs for their fellow receiver.
The touchdown was the first of the season for Doubs, who had eight for the Packers last season.
Through three drives, Doubs has two catches for 29 yards and the score.
On Friday, Doubs answered questions from reporters but didn’t go into specifics on his suspension.
