Green Bay Packers receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling is questionable to return to Sunday’s season finale at Ford Field after suffering a back injury.
The fourth-year receiver was injured in the first half.
It could be an aggravation of a previous injury. Valdes-Scantling dealt with a back injury for a few weeks last month but didn’t miss a game and was never given an injury designation for a game.
In 11 games, Valdes-Scantling has 26 catches on 54 targets for 430 yards and three touchdowns.
The Packers have a first-round bye in the playoffs, so the speedy receiver would get two weeks to get healed before the NFC Divisional Round.
Valdes-Scantling did miss five games while on injured reserve in October due to a hamstring injury, and he missed Week 16 while on the COVID-19 reserve list.
Coach Matt LaFleur might be able to give more information on the injury following Sunday’s game at Ford Field.
