It looks like the Green Bay Packers will be without Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target Thursday when they face the unbeaten Arizona Cardinals.
Great wide receiver Davante Adams was placed on the COVID-19 list Monday.
The Packers are 6-1 and head to the desert to meet the 7-0 Cardinals in a top tussle.
Adams has said he is fully vaccinated, meaning this would be a breakthrough case. Green Bay defensive coordinator Joe Barry also tested positive for COVID-19 and could miss the game.
Adams had six catches for 76 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 24-10 victory over the Washington Football Team.
On the season, he has 52 catches for 744 yards.
