Packers up to $14M in salary cap space after NFL adjustment

The Packers gained a little over $5.5 million in additional cap space after an NFL adjustment.

The Green Bay Packers gained more salary cap space in an annual adjustment made the NFL, which is explained in detail by Over the Cap here.

According to Ken Ingalls, the Packers gained $5,561,176 of additional cap room via the adjustment.

At this point, OTC now has the Packers at roughly $14 million in salary cap space with the start of the new league year approaching.

What is the adjustment?

From OTC: “Typically these are for things like incentives that counted on the cap in 2023 but were not earned, credits for bonus repayments, guaranteed salary offsets, and per game bonus credits.”

The Packers were one of 25 teams to receive a positive cap adjustment.

After the adjustment, the Packers’ adjusted salary cap is almost $274 million for 2024. Other adjustments include rollover from 2023. The NFL’s salary cap is $255.4 million this year.
