The Green Bay Packers won’t have fans at training camp practices this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, limiting access to the happenings of the team at Ray Nitschke Field.
But you’re in luck. Here’s a roundup of what happened at today’s practice:
Reminder
Packers play the Vikings to open the season in three weeks.

Fight! Just kidding
Patrick and Keke into a mini shoving match during one on ones.
— Bill Huber (@BillHuberSI) August 23, 2020
Closest thing we’ve come to a scuffle so far just now between Kingsley Keke and Lucas Patrick during 1-on-1s. Nothing more than some spirited post-play shoving, though.
— Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman) August 23, 2020
Nice play from Malik Turner
Phenomenal sideline grab by Malik Turner in one on ones. Skied to snag the ball and made sure to fall with feet inbounds
— Aaron Nagler (@AaronNagler) August 23, 2020
Runyan in 1-on-1s
Jon Runyan has come as advertised, gritty dude. Willing to get his hands dirty. Had some nice showings in 1 on 1s #Packers

12 to 17 to start 11-on-11s
Yeah, Davante Adams is back. First play team reps, he beats Darnell Savage Jr. deep, catches pass from Aaron Rodgers for some 50 yards. Vintage.
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) August 23, 2020
First play in team Rodgers unloads a deep shot to Davante who had a step on Savage. Leaping grab by 17 for a huge gain.
— Aaron Nagler (@AaronNagler) August 23, 2020
Aaron Rodgers just did the “suck it” crotch chop after completing a 60-yard bomb to Davante Adams during 11-on-11s.
— Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman) August 23, 2020
No more boot for Montravius
Montravius Adams is already out of the walking boot he had yesterday but he’s still limping.

Kamal keeps impressing
Kamal Martin just flattened Josiah Deguara, who was lead blocker at fullback. My god.
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) August 23, 2020
Kamal Martin is having (another) good day.
— Aaron Nagler (@AaronNagler) August 23, 2020
More big throws from 12
On back-to-back snaps in 11-on-11s, Aaron Rodgers throws 50- and 45-yard TDs to Davante Adams (Josh Jackson in coverage) and Jake Kumerow (Will Sunderland).
— Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman) August 23, 2020
Aaron Rodgers is having a day. He finds Adams behind Josh Jackson on the right side for a 45-yard TD. One play later, Rodgers hits Jake Kumerow behind Will Sunderland for a 45-yard TD. Putting the ball where he wants. Just boom, boom, boom.
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) August 23, 2020
Aaron Rodgers in a groove: Consecutive deep ball TDs to Davante Adams (50 yarder right sideline vs Josh Jackson) and Jake Kumerow (45 yard post vs Will Sunderland)

Rashan dominates red zone
Rashan Gary has had three really strong rushes to start the latest team stuff. Guy is going to be a problem for opponents.
— Aaron Nagler (@AaronNagler) August 23, 2020
In red zone, Rashan Gary has been an army of one.
— Bill Huber (@BillHuberSI) August 23, 2020
Human rattlesnake Rashan Gary just messed up all the efforts of professional ball thrower Aaron Rodgers whilst in the red area. Impressive work. #Packers

Crosby tracker
Mason Crosby nails all seven FGs and is 29-for-31 so far in camp.
— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) August 23, 2020
Tonyan highlight
Tonyan with a fantastic catch. One of the best catches of camp so far. Over the middle from 12. Tight coverage. Went up and made a play!
— Andy Herman (@AndyHermanNFL) August 23, 2020
What a catch by Tonyan down there seam through traffic on third and 5 in two minute
— Wes Hodkiewicz (@WesHod) August 23, 2020
Offense scores in two-minute
Rodgers masterful in 2-minute. Two passes to Tonyan and improv shovel to J Williams all moved the chains. Used lone timeout at 33 sec. Third spike in the sequence comes after short completion to Kumerow with 3 sec left. Crosby nails it from 47. Can’t do it any better.
— Mike Spofford (@mikespofford) August 23, 2020
Offense goes down and sets up a 47 yarder for Crosby in two minute. Two completions to Tonyan for first downs. Rodgers was 6 of 7
— Wes Hodkiewicz (@WesHod) August 23, 2020
Ty Summers gets it done…
Oh and we got some live tackling. Summers brings Dillon down afte check down from Love
— Wes Hodkiewicz (@WesHod) August 23, 2020
… But Kabion Ento isn’t so lucky
AJ Dillon stiff armed Kabion Ento for an extra 8 yards off tackle.
— Tom Silverstein (@TomSilverstein) August 23, 2020
One more Kamal mention
Kamal Martin times Jordan Love’s snap count perfectly, breaks through LOS untouched, and drops Damarea Crockett for 3-yard loss. Like a blur. Hell of a play from the rookie. Got an “OOHHH!” from entire defensive sideline.
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) August 23, 2020
Kamal Martin just detonated someone. Gets up yelling. Guy is having a strong day of practice.
— Aaron Nagler (@AaronNagler) August 23, 2020
You can see what #Packers like in Kamal Martin. Just knifed through the offense and dropped the back for a loss.
