The Green Bay Packers won’t have fans at training camp practices this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, limiting access to the happenings of the team at Ray Nitschke Field.
But you’re in luck. Here’s a roundup of what happened at today’s practice, which actually took place inside Lambeau Field:

No Davante or Z

No Amos, either
No sign of Adrian Amos out here either.

Deguara flashes
Some impressive one-on-one reps from #Packers TE Josiah Deguara. He leaked over Raven Greene, who was in good coverage, for a catch from Aaron Rodgers on the right sideline. Looked like a natural WR. Deguara also drew a blatant DPI against Greene on a double move in another rep.

1-on-1 rep winners
A couple of impressive rushes from Kenny Clark in the 1-on-1s: beat Elgton Jenkins once and then drew a hold the next time.
Other impressive winners: Lane Taylor (2x), Tipa Galeai (2x), Jon Runyan (2x), Rashan Gary (once).

Lazard vs. Jaire
Some really competitive one-on-one WR/DB reps between Lazard & Alexander. On a deep fade and quick slant, Lazard made two very difficult grabs. Clawed the ball away on the fade as both jumped and crashed to the ground. Alexander makes it tough all the time.

UDFA pass-rusher to keep an eye on
In 1-on-1s a guy to watch was undrafted LB Tipa Galeai. Very quick off the ball. Downside is he’s 6-5, 229.

Rick Wagner is having his left arm looked at by a member of the training staff.

Looks like OT Rick Wagner is going into the locker room to be examined.

Big plays from MVS, Dillon and Lovett
Nice diving grab by MVS on a comeback route from Rodgers. Got plenty of separation.
— Mike Spofford (@mikespofford) August 20, 2020
Tom Boyle with a rocket shot down the middle to AJ Dillon. Second time they’ve connected deep in camp. Dillon would have taken a big in a real game.
— Tom Silverstein (@TomSilverstein) August 20, 2020
New FB/H-Back John Lovett just made an impressive outstretched catch on a sideline deep ball but rookie Vernon Scott immediately signaled push-off. No way to know if he would’ve gotten away with it. Either way, nice deep ball from Tim Boyle. #TBLS

Patented play fake from Rodgers where he holds the ball almost behind his leg, then rises and fires to MVS who was cutting across about 20 yards downfield. Perfect rhythm throw

Defense wins two minute drill
Rodgers in 2-minute starts with incomplete to MVS, hits Tonyan up the seam. After spike, MVS false starts. Deep sideline shot for Kumerow no good. On third-and-15, checkdown to EQ sets up fourth-and-6. Incomplete middle to Lazard. Defense wins.

Love leads scoring drive
Jordan loves first crack at the two minute drill puts the Packers in position for a 48-yard field goal and Mason Crosby drilled it. Highlight was a juggling catch by Darrius Shepherd to the 30.
— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) August 20, 2020
Perfect Crosby
Crosby then hits from 30-plus, 40, 45 & 50. 5-for-5 on the day total.
