Packers trading CB Ka’dar Hollman to Houston Texans

The Packers will trade cornerback Ka’dar Hollman, a sixth-round pick in 2019, to the Houston Texans.

The Green Bay Packers are trading another recent draft pick at the cornerback position.

According to Aaron Wilson, the Packers will trade cornerback Ka’dar Hollman to the Houston Texans.

Hollman wasn’t at practice on Monday. The compensation coming back to the Packers was not immediately reported.

Hollman, who played in 18 games for the Packers over the last two seasons, was a sixth-round pick of the team in 2019. He joins Josh Jackson, a second-round pick in 2018, as draft picks traded away by the Packers in the last week.

Hollman wasn’t likely to make the 53-man roster after the Packers drafted Eric Stokes and Shemar Jean-Charles in the 2021 draft.

Overall, Hollman played 112 snaps on defense and 198 snaps on special teams over his two seasons in Green Bay.

The Packers also released 2020 fifth-round pick Kamal Martin, per ESPN’s Rob Demovsky. The team must have the roster trimmed to 80 players by Tuesday afternoon.
