Packers to sign former Panthers WR Devin Funchess

The Packers have agreed to terms with WR Devin Funchess.

The Green Bay Packers have finally dipped into the receiver market.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Packers are expected to sign free agent receiver Devin Funchess.

A second-round pick of the Carolina Panthers in 2015, Funchess played in just one game with the Indianapolis Colts last season before suffering a season-ending collarbone injury.

Funchess caught 161 passes for 2,233 yards and 21 touchdowns over 61 games with the Panthers. He caught just 51.8 percent of his targets and averaged 7.2 yards per target.

Funchess stands 6-4 and weighs 225 pounds. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds at the 2015 combine.
