The Green Bay Packers offered tenders to all four of the team’s exclusive rights free agents.
Receivers Allen Lazard and Malik Taylor, offensive tackle Yosh Nijman and outside linebacker Randy Ramsey will all be back in 2021 on the one-year exclusive rights tender.
The big name here is Lazard, who has caught 68 passes for 920 yards and six touchdowns over the last two seasons. The team’s starting wide receiver will be back in Green Bay at the league minimum salary for players with two accrued seasons.
With another accrued season in 2021, Lazard will be a restricted free agent in 2022.
Taylor caught a touchdown pass as a reserve receiver and played on special teams in 2020. The Packers like his athleticism and potential. Ramsey was another key special teams player, and Nijman is a developmental offensive lineman entering his third season in Green Bay.
An exclusive rights free agent is any player with an expiring contract and two or fewer years of accrued experience. Exclusive rights free agents are not allowed to negotiate with other teams. The tender is worth the league minimum salary based on experience.
