The Green Bay Packers took a first-half lead over the Los Angeles Rams with a beautifully crafted touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams.
On 3rd-and-goal from the 1-yard line, Adams went in motion from right to left, only to reverse course and motion back to the right, springing him loose from Jalen Ramsey and opening a window for Rodgers to make the throw for the score.
The touchdown put the Packers up 10-3 in the second quarter.
The scoring march traveled 84 yards over 14 plays. The Packers ran eight times and were assisted by a 15-yard personal foul on Aaron Donald, who was mixing it up with Elgton Jenkins after a play.
The Packers have run 14 times for 61 yards. Adams has two catches for nine yards and the touchdown.
The Packers took a 3-0 lead after a 12-play, 63-yard drive stalled in the red zone. The NFL’s best offense at scoring touchdowns in the red zone during the 2020 season (80 percent) responded with seven points on their second opportunity.
