Packers rule out DL Devonte Wyatt, list WRs Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs as doubtful to play vs. Rams

The Green Bay Packers listed 10 total players with playing status designations — including three as out or doubtful — on the final injury report before playing the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5.

The list is a long one for Matt LaFleur’s team.

The Packers ruled out defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt and listed receivers Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs as doubtful to play. Seven are questionable: cornerback Jaire Alexander, offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins, linebacker Edgerrin Cooper, offensive lineman Jordan Morgan, tight end Luke Musgrave, cornerback Carrington Valentine and defensive lineman Jonathan Ford.

Quarterback Jordan Morgan was a full participant on Thursday and Friday and has no status designation on the final injury report.

Wyatt injured his ankle last week against the Minnesota Vikings and didn’t practice all week. The same goes for Watson, who avoided injured reserve but is likely to miss at least one game. Doubs had a personal issue and missed practices on Thursday and Friday, and LaFleur called his status “day to day.” It’s possible the Packers could be without two of their top receivers against the Rams on Sunday.

Of the seven questionable listings, only Musgrave didn’t practice in some capacity this week. He missed all three practices this week with an ankle injury. The other six practiced in a limited capacity Friday, including Alexander, who is attempting to come back from a groin injury. Valentine and Morgan both practiced all three days and could return from two-game absences.

With seven questionable players, the pre-game inactive list will be an important for the Packers. Teams announce inactives 90 minutes before kickoff, so around 2:55 p.m. CT on Sunday.

The Rams ruled out two players: receiver Cooper Kupp and defensive lineman Larrell Murchinson.
