The Green Bay Packers released tight end Nick Guggemos in the corresponding roster transaction to signing rookie receiver Jadakis Bonds on Tuesday, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

Guggemos, an undrafted free agent from St. Thomas (MN), originally signed to the Packers practice squad in late November of last year. He returned in January on a futures deal.

Guggemos (6-5, 247) previously spent time with the practice squads of the Seattle Seahawks and Cleveland Browns.

Releasing Guggemos leaves the Packers with six tight ends on the roster, including draft picks Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft.
