Packers RB A.J. Dillon named NFL Rookie of the Week for Week 16

The Packers’ second-round pick earned the weekly award after rushing for 124 yards and two touchdowns against the Titans.

A.J. Dillon’s breakout performance in primetime against the Tennessee Titans earned the rookie running back a weekly award from the NFL.

Dillon, the Packers’ second-round pick, was named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week after rushing for 124 yards and two touchdowns against the Titans in Week 16.

Dillon is the first Packers rookie to win the award since running back Jamaal Williams in Week 14 of 2017. He is also the only rookie in team history to rush for at least 120 yards and two touchdowns in a game.

Dillon’s 124 rushing yards are the seventh-most by a rookie this season. He joined Jonathan Taylor, D’Andre Swift and Antonio Gibson as the only rookies to rush for at least 100 yards and score two rushing touchdowns in a game this season.
