Packers RB Aaron Jones exits game against Seahawks with knee injury

Packers running back Aaron Jones exited Sunday’s game against the Seahawks with a knee injury.

The injury-cursed Green Bay Packers might be dealing with another significant injury.

Pro Bowl running back Aaron Jones suffered a knee injury in the second half of Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks and is officially listed as questionable to return. He needed assistance getting off the field following a run play.

CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson reported Jones had tears in his eyes coming out of the blue medical tent on the sideline and immediately went to speak with family in the stands, suggesting the potential for a significant injury. He remained on the bench following the injury.

Jones carried seven times for 25 yards and caught four passes for 61 yards before the injury.

Without Jones, the Packers will lean on A.J. Dillon at running back. Rookie Kylin Hill is already on injured reserve, but the Packers do have Patrick Taylor, who was signed from the practice squad earlier this month, available behind Dillon.

Coach Matt LaFleur will have the opportunity to provide an update following the contest.
