Packers QB Jordan Love ranked in top-20 of merchandise sales between March and May

Jordan Love, the Packers new starting QB, helped sell some merchadise over the last three months.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love cracked the NFL’s top 20 in official merchandise sales between March 1 and May 31, per the NFLPA.

Love obviously benefitted from the trade of Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets, which allowed him to assume the throne at quarterback in Green Bay. As expected, Packers fans responded to the transition by loading up on Love gear.

Speaking of Rodgers, the new Jets quarterback ranked No. 2 on the list, trailing only NFL and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. Fans in New York are ready for Rodgers to be the franchise savior.

Among quarterbacks, Love ranked 12th in merchadise sales.

The guess here is that Love will shoot up the rankings in 2023 if he has a successful first season as the starter in Green Bay. For now, sales suggest a cautious optimism.

From the NFLPA: “The NFLPA Top 50 Player Sales List is the only verified ranking of all officially licensed, NFL player-branded merchandise sold from online and traditional retail outlets as reported by over 85 NFLPA licensees such as Fanatics, Outerstuff, Nike, Fathead, FOCO and Funko.”
