Packers QB Jordan Love questionable to return vs. Bears with elbow injury

Packers QB Jordan Love exited Sunday’s season finale against the Bears with an elbow injury on his throwing arm.

The Green Bay Packers lost both Christian Watson and Jordan Love to injuries on the same drive in the second quarter of Sunday’s season finale against the Chicago Bears.

While Watson appeared to suffer a non-contact knee injury, Love went down while being tackled to the ground on a passing attempt. He is being listed as questionable to return with an elbow injury to his throwing arm.

The Packers replaced Love with Malik Willis on the drive, which ended in a 9-yard Josh Jacobs touchdown run.

Love appeared to be feeling discomfort in the fingers on his throwing hand. He was flexing his fingers and attempting to grip the football as he left the field. The issue is likely nerve related based on the injury listing and Love’s visible symptoms.

Willis stayed on the field for the Packers drive following the touchdown, suggesting Love’s day could be over.

Watson is also questionable to return.

The Packers will play either the Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Wild Card Round next week. Injuries to Love and Watson will be in the spotlight coming out of this season finale.
