Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is out for Sunday after testing positive for COVID-19.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss the team’s showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network was the first to report the news.

With Rodgers out, the Packers will start 2019 first-round pick Jordan Love at quarterback against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs on Sunday.

The Packers have dealt with several positive COVID-19 tests in the past week or so, including to defensive coordinator Joe Barry, receiver Davante Adams and most recently quarterback Kurt Benkert.

Rodgers started the first eight games of the season, leading the Packers to a 7-1 record and the top seed in the NFC.
