Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named a first-team All-Pro for the 2021 NFL season by the Associated Press.
Rodgers, who threw 37 touchdown passes and posted a league-best 111.9 passer rating, received 36 of the possible 50 votes for first-team All-Pro. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady received the other 14 votes.
The honor is Rodgers’ fourth first-team selection of his career, setting a new team record for the quarterback position. He was previously a first-team All-Pro during the 2011, 2014 and 2020 seasons, all years when he eventually won the league’s MVP award from the AP.
Rodgers helped the Packers to a 13-4 record and the top seed in the NFC. He threw just four interceptions and led the NFL in touchdown percentage, interception percentage, touchdown-to-interception ratio, QBR and adjusted net yards per attempt.
A red-hot finish helped elevate Rodgers to the top of the quarterback hierarchy again in 2021. Over the final seven games, Rodgers threw 20 touchdown passes and no interceptions.
Rodgers also set a new NFL record (breaking his own from 2020) by producing 13 games with multiple touchdown passes and no interceptions.
His 111.9 passer rating was the fourth-best of his career. He won the MVP in each of the three seasons finishing ahead of 2021.
Overall, Rodgers ranked tied for fourth in the NFL in touchdown passes, third in completion percentage and sixth in yards per attempt.
The Packers had three first-team All-Pros in 2021.
