Packers playoff chances and games to watch entering Week 10

A look at the Packers’ playoff chances, and the games that matter to Green Bay in Week 10.

The Green Bay Packers are entering Week 10 of the 2024 season — a bye week for Matt LaFleur’s team — with a 65 percent chance of making the playoffs but only a five percent chance of winning the NFC North, according to The Athletic’s playoff projection model.

Ahead of Sunday, the Packers (6-3, 0-2 in NFC North) currently hold the No. 7 seed in the NFC playoff picture and have at least a two-win advantage over all teams behind them in the playoff standings.

While the Packers don’t play in Week 10, LaFleur’s team will be impacted by results around the NFL.

Here are some games for Packers fans to keep an eye on this week:

Minnesota Vikings (6-2) at Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7) — The Packers trail the Vikings in the NFC North and wildcard standings.

Detroit Lions (7-1) at Houston Texans (6-3) — The Packers will need help to catch the Lions in the NFC North.

Philadelphia Eagles (6-2) at Dallas Cowboys (3-5) — The Eagles have a head-to-head win over the Packers and currently hold the No. 6 seed in the NFC.

New England Patriots (2-7) at Chicago Bears (4-4) — Can the Bears make a second-half run?

San Francisco 49ers (4-4) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) — Two teams chasing the Packers for the final wildcard spot.

Miami Dolphins (2-6) at Los Angeles Rams (4-4) — The Rams are one of five teams with four wins chasing the Packers for the No. 7 seed.
