The Green Bay Packers scored 376 points during their first season under coach and playcaller Matt LaFleur in 2019.

After scoring 30 points in a win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, the Packers now have more total points in just 12 games in 2020 than during all of 2019.

LaFleur’s team is up to 379 points this season. If the Packers maintain their current pace (31.6 points per game) over the final four games, they’ll score over 500 points in 2020. Only 24 teams in NFL history have scored 500 or more points in a season, and the last and only Packers team to do it was the 2011 club (560 points).

For the second consecutive season, the Packers are 9-3 after 12 games, but last season’s team had just 289 points entering the final quarter of the season, including four games with 30 or more points.

The Packers have 90 more points after 12 games this season, and they hit 30 points in a game for the ninth time on Sunday. They’ve scored 40 or more three times.

Aaron Rodgers has played a major role in the Packers’ resurgence in Year 2 of LaFleur’s tenure. The two-time MVP quarterback has an NFL-high 35 touchdown passes in 12 games, or nine more touchdown passes than he threw in 16 games last season, and he’s produced 11 total games with multiple touchdown passes and a passer rating over 100.0.

The result has been a lot of points and big wins. The Packers have a point differential of +80 this season, including six wins of nine or more points. Last year’s team had a final point differential of +63 and just five wins of nine or more points.
