Packers lose DL Kenny Clark to shoulder injury vs. Rams

Packers DL Kenny Clark is questionable to return after injuring his shoulder in the first half vs. the Rams.

Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Kenny Clark was carted from the sideline to the locker room after suffering a shoulder injury in the first half of Sunday’s matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.

Clark is questionable to return, per the team.

UPDATE: The Packers ruled out Clark to start the second half.

The injury happened on a second-down play in the second quarter. Clark was treated on the field and examined in the blue medical tent before taking a ride on the cart back to the locker room.

Green Bay’s defense is already down four Week 1 starters on Sunday. Safety Rudy Ford and linebacker Quay Walker are inactive with injuries, cornerback Rasul Douglas was traded to the Bills on Tuesday and safety Darnell Savage is on injured reserve.

The Packers generally update the injury situation coming out of halftime, so Clark’s availability the rest of the way should be revealed to start the second half.

The Packers will go with T.J. Slaton, Devonte Wyatt, Colby Wooden and Karl Brooks along the defensive line the rest of the way.
