Green bay Packers left guard Jon Runyan Jr. left Sunday’s season opener against the Minnesota Vikings to be evaluated for a potential concussion.
Rookie Zach Tom replaced Runyan at left guard.
Runyan, now in his second season as a starter, was injured while blocking at the end of a sack of Aaron Rodgers in the third quarter.
The Packers are now down three preferred starters along the offensive line: Runyan, left tackle David Bakhtiari and right tackle Elgton Jenkins.
As currently constructed from left to right, the Packers have Yosh Nijman, Tom, Josh Myers, Jake Hanson and Royce Newman starting up front on offense.
Runyan started 16 games at left guard last season.
The Packers trail 17-0.
