The Green Bay Packers will once again recognize frontline workers during Sunday night’s game at Lambeau Field against the Tennessee Titans.
The team announced roughly 450 healthcare professionals and first responders will be invited to attend the primetime showdown in Green Bay.
The Packers are calling the invites “a collective show of the community’s appreciation” and a way to” recognize frontline workers and their families for their dedication and sacrifices.”
Last week, the Packers invited around 250 frontline workers for last Saturday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. The attendees sat in small groups distanced from each other inside Lambeau Field.
The Packers are still inviting team employees and the immediate families of employees to attend games, but general admission is still not allowed.
Sunday night is the final regular-season game at Lambeau Field. The Packers still haven’t decided about a postseason policy regarding fans attending games. The NFC North champions are guaranteed at least one home playoff game.
