Packers injury report: LT David Bakhtiari good to go, CB Jaire Alexander doubtful vs. Jags

The Packers are getting back LT David Bakhtiari, but CB Jaire Alexander likely won’t play against the Jaguars.

First, the good news: Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari will play on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The All-Pro was removed from Friday’s injury report and will return after missing three games with a chest injury.

Now, the bad news: Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander is listed as doubtful. The defense’s No. 1 corner is still working through the concussion protocol and will likely miss his first game of the season.

Seven other players, including cornerback Kevin King and tight end Robert Tonyan, were listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report.

With Bakhtiari back, Billy Turner can slide back to right tackle after playing the last three games on the left side.

Without Alexander, the Packers could use a comeback on Sunday from King, who hasn’t played since Week 4 while dealing with a quad injury.

Tonyan was downgraded to a non-participant during Friday’s practice, potentially complicating his playing status for Sunday. He is still dealing with an ankle injury.

The Packers could also get receiver Allen Lazard and linebacker Christian Kirksey back on Sunday, but neither player has been added to the active roster from injured reserve. The team could make that move on Saturday. Both would likely be added to the injury report.
