The first career touchdown pass from quarterback Malik Willis put the Green Bay Packers up 10-0 over the Indianapolis Colts in the first quarter Sunday at Lambeau Field.

On 3rd-and-4, Willis threw a dart to receiver Dontatyvion Wicks, who beat slot corner Kenny Moore and turned up field for the 14-yard touchdown.

The Packers, who are without Jordan Love because of a knee injury, scored on both of their drives to open the first quarter.

Willis came into Sunday’s start with zero touchdown passes and three interceptions across three starts and 11 appearances since being selected in the third round of the 2022 draft by the Tennessee Titans. He needed just two drives with the Packers to get his first passing score.

Willis was acquired via trade with the Titans on Aug. 27.

Willis completed both of his passes during the Packers’ first two drives. Green Bay is running all over the Colts — who allowed over 200 rushing yards to the Houston Texans in the opener.

At the end of the first quarter, the Packers have 164 yards rushing, the most in team history.
