Green Bay Packers receiver Jayden Reed got open deep and made a defender miss in the open field on Jordan Love’s career-long 70-yard touchdown pass in the first half of Friday night’s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil.
On 3rd-and-10, Love escaped pressure and broke contain of the pocket before finding Reed wide open moving left to right down the field. The second-year receiver made the catch, avoided a tackle attempt and sprinted into the end zone to give the Packers a 19-14 lead in the second quarter at Arena Corinthians.

The go-ahead score was Reed’s second of the first half. He scored on a 33-yard run off an end around earlier in the second quarter. On just three touches (two catches, one rush), Reed has 112 total yards.
According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, Reed is just the third player in the last 40 years to score a rushing touchdown of at least 30 yards and a receiving touchdown of 70 or more yards in a single game.
Love’s previous long touchdown pass was a 63-yarder to Christian Watson against the Eagles in 2022.
Through two quarters of play, Love is 7-of-14 for 140 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. His passer rating is 106.2. The Packers lead, 19-17.
