The Green Bay Packers will be equipped with plenty of ammo when the 2020 NFL Draft kicks off on April 23.
Officially, the Packers are tied for the fourth-most selections (10) in April’s upcoming draft. Only the Miami Dolphins (14), New England Patriots (12) and Denver Broncos (11) have more draft picks.
Tied with the Packers with 10 selections are the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings.
The Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints are tied for the least amount of picks (five) in this year’s draft.
The Packers have at least one pick in each round, including four picks acquired through various trades from the last two years. GM Brian Gutekunst traded running back Ty Montgomery, outside linebacker Reggie Gilbert, offensive lineman Justin McCray and receiver Trevor Davis for additional draft picks, supplementing the draft capital of a team that didn’t receive a compensatory pick each of the last two years.
Of the Packers’ 10 picks, seven come in the fourth round or later. In total, the Packers will have three selections in the top 100.
