The road to the Super Bowl in the NFC will run through Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The Packers earned the No. 1 seed in the conference with a 35-16 win over the Chicago Bears during Sunday’s season finale at Soldier Field.
Matt LaFleur’s team finished 13-3 for the second-straight season.
Starting this season, only one team in each conference earns the No. 1 seed. The Packers and Kansas City Chiefs are the two No. 1 seeds in 2020.
As the top seed, the Packers will get a first-round bye and homefield advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. They are guaranteed a game at Lambeau Field against the lowest remaining seed in the NFC Divisional Round in two weeks and would, with a win, play the NFC Championship Game in Green Bay for the first time since the 2007 season.
The Packers haven’t been the No. 1 seed in the NFC since the 2011 season.
