Packers CB Jaire Alexander back at practice after sitting out with ‘tightness’

Packers CB Jaire Alexander didn’t finish Tuesday’s practice because of “tightness,” per Matt LaFleur, but he was back on Wednesday.

Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander returned to practice inside the Don Hutson Center on Wednesday, eliminating any worry over an injury situation after he sat out the final portion of practice on Tuesday.

According to coach Matt LaFleur, Alexander was feeling some “tightness,” so the team took the precautionary route and held him out to finish practice.

LaFleur did not specify where Alexander – who missed 12 games with a shoulder injury last season – was feeling the tightness.

Per Rob Demovsky of ESPN, Alexander participated throughout Wednesday’s practice, which lasted just under an hour and a half. After a padded practice on Tuesday, LaFleur had his team going at a walk-through pace in anticipation of another padded practice on Thursday and the Family Night Scrimmage on Friday.

LaFleur said his goal was to have Alexander ready to go for Friday night at Lambeau Field.

Here’s Alexander going through a hand-eye coordination drill at Wednesday’s practice:
