The move comes right on the heels of a similar decision being reached by the Big Ten, which made its announcement earlier Tuesday afternoon. Both conferences are hoping to play football in the Spring, should circumstances improve.
Earlier this week, other FBS conferences such as the MAC and Mountain West also cancelled fall sports for 2020, including football.
