The Colorado Buffaloes men’s basketball team has some excitement around it with the season a couple of months away.
They lost some players, but there is a ton of hype with Tad Boyle’s team heading into 2022-23. After a first-round NIT loss to St. Bonaventure last year, the Buffs have bigger goals in mind.
The nonconference slate has already been announced, but now the regular season Pac-12 matchups have been released.
First, though, the Buffs’ early season conference play starts with Arizona State in Boulder on Dec. 1. Then, they face Washington on the road on Dec. 4.
Here are a few nuggets for the Buffs’ regular season conference schedule, according to the official release:
Colorado will alternate two games home, two games away, for the first six weeks (12 games) of the main portion of the Pac-12 schedule. The Buffaloes’ final six games will consist of a three-game road trip, followed by a three-game homestand to wrap up the regular season.
Not all of the dates and times are finalized, but at least we know when the Buffs conference opener will be: Dec. 1 against the Sun Devils.
The Buffs play two games against each Pac-12 team, except for Washington and Washington State; CU faces the Huskies and Cougars just once.
Get ready, Buffs basketball will be back before you know it.
