Pac-12 football race will come into focus based on USC-Utah result

The dominoes are about to start falling, one way or the other, in the #Pac12. We discussed this with @MarkRogersTV.

Scenarios are hard to game out in complete detail in the midsection of the college football season, but it remains true that we are coming closer to November, when conference championship scenarios will become a common part of weekly coverage here in the Pac-12.

There are a lot of games left to play, which means that upsets could crop up from any number of angles. So many individual plot points could throw a monkey wrench into scenarios, plans, projections, and various teams’ paths to the Pac-12 Championship Game in Las Vegas this December.

Yet, USC-Utah will undeniably reshape the Pac-12 race. We can say that much. We talked to Mark Rogers at The Voice of College Football and made a few central points about the scenarios which could emerge in the next several weeks. We told USC fans whom they should be rooting for if they want the Trojans to have the best possible odds of making the Pac-12 title game.
