The Vikings front office has come under fire as of late for their decisions this offseason.
Minnesota let the likes of Trae Waynes, Xavier Rhodes, Linval Joseph and others leave the team in free agency. It also seems like Everson Griffen is leaving.
In addition to that, Minnesota also traded Stefon Diggs to Buffalo for draft picks. The Vikings now have 12 picks in total.
With all of that considered, Jason Fitzgerald, founder of Over The Cap, thinks that Minnesota has one of the best-run front offices in the NFL right now.
Not in any particular order, Fitzgerald listed the Eagles, Patriots, 49ers, Vikings, and Ravens as the front offices he thinks are best. It’s safe to say some Vikings fans might disagree with him.

However, general manager Rick Spielman, alongside head coach Mike Zimmer, has done his share of good while representing Minnesota. The team has been decent at getting value out of late draft picks, and it is coming off a season in which it had a playoff victory.
It’s hard to say for certain whether Zimmer and Spielman will be remembered as competent leadership or not, but appears that this upcoming season is immensely important for the both of them.
