Prediction
Bucks 120, Magic 111
Moneyline (ML)
The Bucks (-910) are huge moneyline favorites over the Magic (+600) in Game 2 of this playoff series despite being blown-out in Game 1. Orlando was able to take Game 1 122-110, sending shockwaves across the NBA. With the Bucks looking to avoid a disastrous 0-2 start to this series, look for them to play with a ton of urgency Thursday evening.
Milwaukee should be able to win this game easily, but PASS on the moneyline as it doesn’t present enough value on either side.
Line/Against the Spread (ATS)
The Bucks -12.5 (-110) are double-digit favorites over the MAGIC +12.5 (-110) in Game 2 of this matchup. While it’s certainly not impossible the Bucks could easily blow out Orlando in this game, the Magic have shown the ability to hang around against good teams.
With the point spread being this high, it makes sense to take Orlando, hoping it can keep it within single digits. The Magic have gone 13-5 against the spread in their last 18 games, so that has to be reassuring to Orlando bettors.
Over/Under (O/U)
The total for this Eastern Conference playoff matchup is set at 226.5 points, which feels low considering how great Orlando’s offense looked Tuesday. The Magic scored 122 points against one of the league’s best defenses and it looked effortless.
While it’s unlikely they will approach that number Thursday, look for Milwaukee to score more than the 110 points it did in Game 1. Take the OVER 226.5 (-110) as the Bucks offense should bounce back in a big way.
