Magic at Spurs: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Spurs 110, Magic 101

Money line (ML)

PASS on the money line here as there just isn’t enough value on the Spurs (-300). Orlando has lost their last six games including a contest against the Heat on Thursday night.

They are likely to lose this game, but their odds (+240) aren’t intriguing enough to wager on them either. Instead, look at the point spread for value on both sides.

Against the spread (ATS)

SPURS -7.5 (-110) is the play here despite the team being without PF LaMarcus Aldridge on Friday night. San Antonio is looking to move him in the upcoming days and he will be out until he finds his new team.

San Antonio hasn’t been great against the spread as of late (2-4 ATS in their last six games) but the Magic don’t inspire much confidence either. TAKE THE SPURS and hope they can bounce back after a disappointing loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

Over/Under (O/U)

UNDER 214.5 (-110) is our lean here as the Magic score the third-fewest points per game in the NBA. They are averaging just 105 points per game with the league’s worst field goal percentage (43.1 percent).

The Spurs have a top-10 scoring defense and should be able to hold the Magic to around 100 points. Look for the UNDER 214.5 (-110) to hit at the AT&T center on Friday.
