Darren Uscher has seen a lot of movement in the past year.
Earlier this year, the personnel and recruiting staffer left Eugene to take a job with the UCLA Bruins in the front office. Not long after that, he actually decided to return to Oregon following the departure of Chip Kelly and took a job in the Ducks’ recruiting and personnel department under Dan Lanning once again.
Now it appears that Uscher is on the move once more. According to 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz, Uscher is heading to South Carolina where he will be the Director of Player Personnel.
Uscher has spent time as the general manager at UCLA, and was the director of player personnel and recruiting at both Auburn and Boise State in years past.
He went to school at South Carolina so this return back to the Gamecocks is a coming home of sorts for the personnel director who has seen many stops in the past several years.
