Oregon tries to get struggling players back on track vs USC in Los Angeles

When #Oregon WBB faces #USC on Friday, one key player stands out according to @Ducks_Wire analyst @Donald_Smalley.

We are talking to Ducks Wire about the many dimensions of two Oregon-USC basketball games this week. After the men play on Thursday night in Eugene, the women meet Friday night in Los Angeles at the Galen Center.

We caught up with Ducks Wire analyst Donald Smalley to get a fuller sense of the Oregon perspective on these games. In reference to the women’s game on Friday night, we were very direct with Don. We asked him about the matchup Oregon needs to win versus USC on Friday night.

“Te-Hina Paopao is the one player that needs to return to form,” Smalley told us. “Everyone else returned offensively versus Utah, but she still struggled. Also, Grace VanSlooten is in one of those freshman slumps. She misses too many open shots under the hoop. If she is the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week after these two games, that’s bad news for the Trojans and Bruins.”
