The Oregon State Beavers (1-0) and San Diego State Aztecs (1-0) meet at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET (CBSSN). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Oregon State vs. San Diego State odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

The Beavers picked up a 38-15 win over FCS Idaho State last weekend, but they just missed covering as a 29-point favorite as the Under (57) connected. Oregon State was able to roll up 362 rushing yards on 58 attempts, as RBs Anthony Hankerson (24-155-2) and Jam Griffin (20-160-2) each tore it up on the ground.

The Aztecs rolled up a 45-14 win over Texas A&M-Commerce at home, but it wasn’t as impressive as the score might indicate. It was just 24-14 heading into the 4th quarter before a TD run, a pick-6 and a TD pass helped San Diego State pull away. San Diego State had 254 rushing yards on 40 attempts.

Oregon State at San Diego State picks and predictions

Prediction

Oregon State 30, San Diego State 21

Moneyline

Playing Oregon State (-205) will set you back more than 2 times your potential return, and that’s just a little too expensive for a standalone wager. However, as part of a multi-team parlay, including the Beavers is perfectly OK for in a parlay of 3 or more teams.

PASS.

Against the spread

Take OREGON STATE -5.5 (-115) laying the little bit of points. It was far more impressive last week against Idaho State than San Diego State +5.5 (-105) was against Texas A&M-Commerce.

The Beavers have a 2-headed monster in the backfield which could give the Aztecs fits at Snapdragon on Saturday night.

Over/Under

The UNDER 53.5 (-105) is the lean, but go lightly with a half-unit play at most.

The Under cashed for Oregon State last week, while San Diego State ended up going Over last week, but 2 of its scores were of the defensive variety. That won’t happen against an FBS opponent.
