Oregon S Aaron Flowers named pre-season True Freshman All-American

Oregon Ducks safety Aaron Flowers has been named a pre-season true-freshman All-American, according to On3.

The Oregon Ducks signed the best recruiting class in school history last December, and some of the top players from that class are expected to have a massive impact this fall.

One of those true freshmen is safety Aaron Flowers, a 4-star recruit from the 2024 class. On Monday, Flowers was named to the On3 pre-season True Freshman All-American Team.

Flowers was one of the top-rated players in the Ducks’ 2024 class, which ranked as the third-best in the nation. Standing at 6-foot, 200 pounds, Flowers is rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 6 overall player and No. 4 safety in the nation for the 2024 class.

Here’s what On3’s Charles Power had to say about Flowers:

Aaron Flowers is a safety that we were very high on at On3 in the 2024 cycle and has a well-rounded skill set with his physical ability, athleticism, cover skills and ability as a tackler. It sounds like he’s made a very positive impression early on in Eugene and looks to be one in contention for early playing time. It wouldn’t be shocking to see him work his way onto the field and continue to grow his role over the course of the season with the Ducks.

According to the sources that I’ve talked to inside Oregon’s program, Flowers has been one of the biggest young stars in fall camp so far this year, and there seems to be a strong possibility that he will crack the defensive rotations early this season, if not the starting lineup for the Ducks before the season is over.
