We knew as soon as it was announced that former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Dillon Gabriel was going to transfer to Eugene that the Oregon Ducks would have another Heisman Trophy contender in 2024.
In 2023, we got an updated look at how the Ducks market a Heisman contender, with billboards of Bo Nix going up across the country with the ‘Bodacious’ slogan becoming part of the ether. It will be interesting to see how the Ducks market Gabriel, and if they will do so in similar ways. Early on, though, it’s become apparent that it is already one of the favorites to win the award, according to numerous sports book betting markets that have been released online.
